2024 PRACTICE-AS-RESEARCH AWARD (NEW!)
For animated practice-as-research creative outputs first disseminated publicly in 2022 & 2023
– Entries may be single- or co-authored (/edited/ produced)
– Entries to consist of the creative output plus a 500-1000 word research statement that includes (but is not limited to): a statement of the research questions; research rationale; a clear statement of the contribution of the nominee to the output’s creation.
– The creative output may be in any language (Non-English entries must be subtitled in English). The research statement must be in English.
– We will accept animated work produced in any medium/ format, however it must be available to view in its entirety online on a single screen and will be judged in this format.

FURTHER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND INFORMATION – ALL AWARDS
– Nominees must be a current member of SAS
– Nominees cannot make more than one submission in any one category
– Nominees may not sit on the judging panel of a category for which they have made a submission
